Kundalini can be described as the great reservoir of creative energy. Kundalini can be found in everyday life, and when this happens the mysterious becomes evident, like finding a spider web in moments of sunlight. The Kundalini system is subtle.

Every one of us, whether we know it or not, is on the path of evolving our consciousness.

Kundalini Yoga is known as the Yoga of Awareness. Awareness is the key. Awareness allows us to feel and experience connection. Anything that allows us to be more aware of ourselves and to feel connected to ourselves and life is a form of yoga. Yoga is an amazingly broad and rich science of self-development and self-exploration; that human existence is an amazingly wonderful, awesome, and occasionally terrifying process; and that there are tools which can allow us to face life with courage, awareness, skill and higher consciousness.

The Kundalini system offers a way to access awareness to the luminous intelligence that lies within us all, and you reveal your true identity. To learn anything new is a process. While the tendency is to intellectualize the powers and meaning of Kundalini, we have to experience this yoga to understand it. We all have dormant energy sleeping within us, waiting to be awoken. Kundalini Yoga gives you the experience of being truly you. When we find and cultivate our awareness, we create our own health, happiness and peace which we can the, in turn, convey to others.

Kundalini is a multi-dimensional yoga that touches on every element of human life. Kundalini Yoga can produce immediate results as you travel on your path to consciousness. We can only unite with higher consciousness through a process of refining our five senses and recognizing their power, accepting what life offers as learning situations and bringing quality to our actions.

Kundalini Yoga balances the glandular system, strengthens the nervous system, expands the lung capacity, and purifies the bloodstream. It trains your mind to think positively and be in control of your thoughts and attitudes. It builds your inner strength and self-awareness to its maximum, assisting you in reaching your highest potential.

The study and practice of Kundalini Yoga can help us develop all of our potential and make us free and independent. Unfortunately, amid today's hectic schedule, many of us have forgotten who we are and why we are here. There is only so much wisdom you get out of a book, but wisdom cannot sustain you. Wisdom only becomes knowledge once you have experienced it.
